Easymatch has recently added "Family Life" as a qualified organization. Oracle employees can now match contributions to Family Life, using the Oracle easymatch program (up to the maximum level of $300 per year). .

Taking offense can trap you and destroy relationships. Learn how to not be ensnared in victim mentality and walk in forgiveness. In life, you will encounter offense, and it is up to you how you are going to let it affect your relationships. Your response will determine your future.
We will go through a DVD based curricullum to discuss the topic of offenses.

New study: Colossians

Mixing eastern mysticism, buddhism, Christianity. Does that sound like New Age? Apparantly, this problem of mixing and pick-and-choose religion is nothing new.
The church of Colosse was under the influence of such false teachings. Paul's letter to the Colossians was written to counteract these false teachings.

The program for this fiscal year ends on May 31. Note that according to policy it is possible to match gifts to Christian organizations under these restrictions:
- Oracle will only consider matching donations to religious organizations when the gift is designated to an ongoing secular community service program sponsored by these organizations which do not advocate or advance any specific religious views.

4/3/2006 Nadia Christina Widjaja born!

One of our brothers in Christ, Kristian Widjaja just got a new baby: His daughter was born on 4/3/2006 at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City! Her name is Nadia Christina Widjaja and at birth she weighed 6 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19.5 inch tall.
Praise the Lord for a beautiful and healthy baby! Please pray that she will be a blessing to others in her life! Here is her first week's photo album.

New study: Excellence in Leadership

For this study, we will be using the book "Excellence in Leadership" by John White.
Nehemiah provides the model we need for excellence in leadership. From the way he overcame obstacles, we find practical solutions for surmounting the problems we encounter. From the way he achieved his goals, we learn how to accomplish the work God has called us to. With the wisdom and biblical insight John White is known for, he shows how to be action-oriented and prayer-oriented, a firm leader and a servant, a realist and a visionary.
